You can nominate a young baller for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step onto court with NBL stars after the final buzzer as a Bunnings Baller. This exclusive experience takes place at NBL games throughout the season.
They’ll get to join home team NBL players on court for a post-match shootaround, receive three tickets to the game (two children and one adult), exclusive Bunnings Backing Ballers basketball singlet and headband and the opportunity to take photos to remember their day forever.

Who can enter?
Only Australian residents who:
(a) are aged 18 or over;
(b) are the parent or legal guardian of a child/children aged between 5 – 12 years old; and
(c) can take the prize on the relevant NBL game date based on the options provided by the Promoter (subject to the official NBL fixture) (inclusive).
For the avoidance of doubt, the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of the child/children.
Who can't enter?
Directors, officers, management, employees and contractors (and their immediate families) of:
(a) the Promoter and the NBL; and
(b) the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.
Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

Entry instructions
To enter, you must, during an Entry Period:
(a) visit the Website;
and
(b) locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including:
(i) selecting your nominated NBL Game to attend (based on the available options below under the “NBL Games” section);
(ii) telling us in 25 words or less "Why you’d like to nominate your young baller for the Bunnings Backing Ballers experience?”; and
(iii) entering all other requested information.
The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry.

For clarity, you can only select one NBL Game in your entry. The NBL Game/s available to choose from will depend on your Entry Period, as follows:
· For Entry Period 1 – you can select either Game 1, 2, 3 or 4;
· For Entry Period 2 – you can only select either Game 2, 3 or 4;
· For Entry Period 3 – you can only select either Game 3 or 4; and
· For Entry Period 4 – you can only select Game 4.
· For Entry Period 5 – you can select any one Game between Game 5 – 29.
How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?
There will be 25 winners per NBL Game determined in respect of this competition.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in how winners will be selected.
Entries for each NBL Game selected will be reviewed and judged by the Promoter and NBL representatives (or by appointed judge/s) based on selected criteria including creativity, originality and inspiration.
The 25 entries per NBL Game selected and judged to be the best will win a prize.
The Promoter may judge additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).
What can I win?
There are 25 prizes per NBL Game available (675 prizes in total for the entire competition).
Each prize is valued at $300 and consists of the following:
· 3 x General Admission tickets to a chosen NBL game (1 x Parent/Guardian ticket and 2 x children’s tickets);
· Bunnings branded merchandise (1x child size Bunnings branded Basketball singlet and 1x child size Bunnings branded Headband) for the winner only. The winner may choose whether (and to whom) it may share this merchandise; and
· a post-game experience which includes various court drills and games for the child participants only.
Prize does not include travel. You and your companions must make your own way to and from the NBL game at your own expense.
The winner must be the parent or legal guardian of each child attending the Event. Each child attending must be aged between 5-12 years.
If you are only able to bring one eligible child as part of the prize, you will forfeit the second child ticket to the NBL game (and therefore forfeit the post-game experience for a second child).
Total prize pool
The total prize pool is $202,500
How many times can I enter?
You can only enter once per NBL Game selected. For clarity, you can only select one NBL Game per entry. Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
How and when will the winner/s be informed?
Winners will be notified by phone and in writing by email within 2 business days of determination.
Unclaimed prize/s
Provisional winners will have 2 business days to respond to the winner notification email.
If a prize has not been accepted or has not been accepted within 2 business days of the winner notification email or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter), the relevant entry/ies will be discarded, and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s who (if possible have not already been awarded an unclaimed prize. Any such winner/s will be informed by phone and in writing by email.
Collection and use of your personal information
As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner and their companions consent to the Promoter and the NBL using their name (if applicable), likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) without remuneration in any media related to the marketing and promotion of any NBL game or the Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter and the NBL in connection with the Promotion.
The Promoter and NBL will collect your/your companions’ personal information directly or through their agents or contractors. The Promoter and NBL will use your/your companions’ personal information to conduct and manage the competition. The Promoter and the NBL may disclose your/your companions’ personal information to their respective related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you/your companions’ or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as USA, Singapore, EU countries, New Zealand, Japan, Vietnam, India and United Kingdom.
If you have marked the relevant “opt-in” box on the entry form, you consent to the Promoter and/or National Basketball League (NBL) (as applicable) keeping your personal information on their database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging provided that where required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Promoter and/or NBL (as applicable) include a functional unsubscribe facility in each direct marketing communication it sends you that you may use to opt-out of any further such communications and provided that the functional unsubscribe facility complies with the Spam Regulations 2021 (Cth).
By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter and NBL without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this competition.

(a) how to seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you and seek correction of the information; and
(b) how to complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.

Entry
2 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. You will receive a return message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks outside its reasonable control. You are responsible your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
3 Every entry, including any “25 words or less” statement, must be your original work and not copied.
4 The Promoter may copy and amend your entry (including the “25 words or less” statement) and may use (or allow others to use) your entry and any rights in relation to your entry, to publicise this competition or for any other purpose. These rights are perpetual, royalty free, world-wide, irrevocable and transferable. For example, the Promoter may publish all or any part of your entry or any amended version of it. The Promoter may also decide not to publish an entry, to cease publication of an entry, or to publish an edited entry.
5 You warrant that your entry does not breach any third party rights (for example, intellectual property rights) and its use by the Promoter or any other person will not breach such rights nor otherwise breach any law (for example, it is not defamatory, in contempt of court or in breach of any privacy law). Your entry must not be obscene, offensive, malicious, discriminatory, indecent or (in the Promoter's opinion) otherwise objectionable or inappropriate (for example it must not include nudity or language the Promoter deems offensive).
6 You must ensure your entry does not contain any virus, malware or other malicious or inappropriate computer code or material.
Prizes
7 Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the prize or any element of the prize for whatever reason, You will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute. Prize/s are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including, as relevant:
(a) validity period/s;
(b) conditions of entry into any event venues (including behaviour requirements, health safety requirements and applicable dress codes);
(c) conditions of ticket validity and any restrictions on ticket on-sale or transfer; and
(d) a requirement that any person taking the prize that is aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian or relative at all times.
8 You are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the prize, including meals, transport, etc. Event tickets can only be used once and will be deemed invalid if copied. The Promoter does not control entry to the relevant event location. You must keep the winning tickets safe and the Promoter will not replace lost or stolen tickets.
9 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.
10 Where relevant, the Promoter accepts no responsibility if one or more of the events or activities awarded as part of the prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. In that case you forfeits their entitlement to that event/activity and the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value. Similarly, while the Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the participation of any specified celebrity/ies in the prize element/s, the Promoter and prize suppliers exclude, so far as legally permissible, all liability if for any reason the celebrity/ies do not attend the prize element/s due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and prize suppliers (e.g. illness). Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute for this altered prize element.
